Description

Jimmy Cobb So Nobody Else Can Hear w/Freddie Hubbard Gregory Hines Pee Wee Ellis New Cut-Out LP

This is a New/Sealed LP!  LP sleeve has a cut corner so it's what we used to call a "cut-out."  As a result, the cellophane is broken at edge of LP but not enough for the record to have been removed.  Long-shuttered record store stock just made available.  Makes a great gift!  Please see photos of actual item on offer!

A classic Northern Soul LP on Contempo Vibrato Recordings!

Guests include; Freddie Hubbard (on flugelhorn), Marilyn Redfield & Gregory Hines (on vocals) Jimmy Cobb (on drums) Pee Wee Ellis (Tenor Saxophone).

From what Cobb wrote on the rear panel liner notes this was videotaped for a special (with an introduction by Bill Cosby) with the intention of also releasing it as an album.  “This being my first attempt as a leader, I hope to have found a direction with the help of my musical compadres, that will reach all kinds of music lovers.”
