  • For your consideration: An original one owner 1972 French pressing LP of the very rare Jimmy Page + Sonny Boy Williamson Vol 8. “Face and Place release on BYG Records in VG + condition. This vintage vinyl plays well with a nice forward presentation. This wonderful historical performance recorded in London in 1965 pairs up Jimmy Page, shortly before joining the Yardbirds, and Sonny Boy Williamson, who was one of the delta bluesman who formed the blueprint for the British Blues revival, eventually leading to the sound of… you guessed it. Led Zeppelin. This LP is also very notable for collectors as is is produced by Giorgio Gomelsky, the early 60’s impresario and bar owner that gave the Rolling Stones their first full-time gig at his Crawdaddy Club. The Stones first manager was then cast off for the young up and comer Andrew Loog Oldham.
