Description

The label has a dark red irregular shaped margin surrounding a white center(see picture). Prestige Record address, 446 W. 50th St., NYC is printed at the bottom of the label. The address also appears at the bottom of the back cover. Original. Leader, Raney, guitar; Hal Overton, piano; Teddy Kotick, bass; Art Mardigan, drums. The notes on the back of the jacket are by Jules Colomby. 4 tracks. The cover photo is by Sal Salvador. This was the first issue on New Jazz L.P.

Cover: VG++ 2" split on the top edge at the insert edge. Very light aging on the back cover. Fine overall condition that shows only minor wear.

Record: VG+ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There are a very small number of light, brush-like surface rub marks. These are barely visible and do not affect the sound. The record has been handled with care with only a few clicks on Track 1, Side A and Track 2, Side B. This includes some light crackles and slight groove noise. This noise is most likely in the early pressing and not a function of wear. I have adjusted the grading to accound for this slight, irregular noise as described. Audibly checked.
