Mega rare original LP of Jimmy Smith At The Organ (Blue Note 1525 - mono) Original issue blue and white Lexington address labels with Deep Groove, RVG, flat edge and ear on both sides. Also no trademark "R" on either label. Smith's early trio date for Blue Note also features Thornel Schwartz and Donald Bailey in a Blue Note classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in strong VG+ condition with some light marks that may make a bit of noise - not quite for the audiophile, but still really nice for a Lexington Blue Note. The cover is also in strong VG+ condition with some light general age/shelf wear and a split on the bottom seam near the opening (about three and a half inches) but NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. Not perfect, but you won't seem many Lexington Blue Notes in this condition at this price.
