Jimmy Smith Groovin Smalls’ Paradise Vol 1 LP Blue Note LP1585 1st 1958 RVG


Vinyl: VG both sides have light scuffs / hairlines.  Side two has a real scratch between track 1 and 2 (mainly on the end of track 1) that causes tics that come and go during the section depending on the organ / drums.  Also on S2T2 theres a quiet section with a guitar solo and a few light repeating tics come through (not loud or overly distracting, but there). Side one plays mostly VG+ with a faint rustle here / there but not much else (maybe one - two odd tics, but nothing major).  Not perfect, but a decent original!


Jacket: VG shelf / age wear.  Split on spine about 2.5 inches.  See pictures.


Blue Note BLP 1585.  47 West 63rd. RVG and “ear” in dead wax on both sides.  No copyright symbol on label. If you have any questions or we missed something please let us know!
