Description

This auction is for my rare copy of the first Jo-Ann Kelly album recorded when she was 25.  I bought this in 1969 after hearing her on John Peel's Top Gear (not the car show the radio show) and was amazed when I saw the cover photo. I've been trying to think of words to describe her and in the end fell back on a quote I found here  http://grapewrath.wordpress.com/2008/12/29/jo-ann-kelly-blues-and-gospel/  "she had a powerhouse of a voice housed within the most unsuspecting body and face".
This is the original UK album not a reissue.  The record is 43 years old so its not in pristine condition, however it is in excellent condition there are no scratches just a little static.  The cover, well you can see the condition in the attached photographs.
