From my many years of collecting anything "Joan Jett," I managed to acquire several copies of the original 1980 vinyl release of the album that was reissued a few years after with the name of "Bad Reputation." The story that I used to read in the Joan Jett fan club, the "Bad Reputation Nation" back in the mid 1990s, was that there was an old record store that had been closed since 1980 and when they opened it up in the mid 90s, it had all of their old stock still on the shelves- including a lot of the original release of Joan Jett's first solo album. They took them back and sold them through the fan club at that time and they stuck a UPC sticker on the back shrink wrap with the number of 748337181312. The catalog number is # JJ707.
