General Information This 12-inch vinyl LP record is a 1981 reissue of her first LP release titled “Joan Jett” on Blackheart Records in 1980 (in the US) after the breakup of her first band, the Runaways. The high-fidelity stereo sound quality of this release is sure to impress any music lover that savors the music from the legendary Joan Jett. This record was manufactured and distributed in the USA by Boardwalk Records, Inc. The catalog number is Boardwalk FW-37065. This particular pressing of the record was mastered at Allen Zentz Mastering in LA, California and pressed at the Columbia Records Pressing Plant in Pitman, NJ. The indication on each side’s record label and the indication on each side’s runout are as follows (respectively): Side 1: (FW-AL 37065) and MASTERED AT ALLEN ZENTZ LA, CALIF. P FW-AL-37065 CP-3 4; and Side 2: (FW-BL 37065) and MASTERED AT ALLEN ZENTZ LA, CALIF. P FW-34-37065 CP-1 1;. The “P” and “CP” indicate that the record was pressed at Columbia’s Pitman. The names of the songs for each side can be found in the photos. The record includes the original inner sleeve with the Boardwalk Records logo in red on both sides.
