Description
Joan Sutherland Art of the Prima Donna volumes 1 and 2
Decca SXL 2256 and SXL 2257
Stereo
Volume one appears to be a first edition with "Original Recording By" at the 10 o'clock position on the record label
Volume 1 matrix numbers: ZAL-4967-1E & ZAL-4968-1E
Volume 1 includes the original Decca inner sleeve and the sleeve has been autographed by Ms. Sutherland
Defects: there are two areas of damage (creases) on the front cover (see photos) and the original owner wrote his name, purchase date, and purchase price on the back cover.
Volume 2 appears to be a later printing.
Volume 2 matrix numbers: ZAL-4969-3G & ZAL-4970-6G
Volume 2 does not include the original Decca inner sleeve.
The back of Volume 2 has been autographed by Ms. Sutherland
Defects - minor creasing at the bottom of the front cover - one crease is approximately 3/4 of an inch. The others are 1/4 inch or less.
Vinyl on both volumes is in excellent condition
