DESCRIPTION & CONDITION Joanne Grauer S/T LP on Avar Records Catalog # JG-4839 Year: ?
The cover is in VG condition. There is a 4" fraying seam split (pictured) on the left side of the top seam. The striking front cover actually looks really nice, the image really stands out. On the back there is some ringwear and other storage wear. Includes an extensive press bio (pictured).
The vinyl is VG- / VG+. The vinyl would rate a strong VG+ were it not for a mark at the beginning of each side; Jesus is my friend has 4 audible clicks, Frog Child has 3 audible clicks. The rest of the disc plays well.
This is an incredibly rare record that is well worth the high prices it commands. When I forst listened to "Frog Child" I thought I might have to keep this for myself. This woman plays the heck out of an electric piano. She grabs you at the beginning and doesn't let go for 11 minutes! Amazingly inventive and completely unique, if you're looking at this auction, you know you need this in your collection. Bid accordingly.
