Pacific Jazz Records catalog # 90, mono, copyright mid 1960's.

A very clean copy of Brazilian pianist Joao Donato's "Sambu Sambu" LP.

Personnel: Donato - piano; Sebastian Neto - bass; Milton Banana - drums; Amaury Rodrigues - bongos & percussion.

Donato plays mostly his own compositions on this LP. His playing, and that of his accompanists, is light and delicate, creating a beautiful and authentic bossa nova sound. This is a terrific collection of Brazilian bossa by a lesser known but brilliant artist.

Vinyl is in excellent condition. Play surfaces are very clean and quiet, but a few minor marks that don't affect play cause a grade of NM-. Sleeve is VG+, with no writing or splits, but slight ringwear and handling wear.
