Description

Joe Albany with Warne Marsh        The Right Combination   mono   Riverside 270    blue  label w/ deep groove

Warne Marsh (ts), Joe Albany (p), Bob Whitlock (b), and (d)   Recorded 1957

Blue label with deep groove both sides.  "553 West 51st Street, New York 19, N.Y." address on back cover.

The record looks and plays VG++.  Record plays quietly. There's some superficial blemishing or dulling of the vinyl and some very light, barely noticeable "paper" scuffs on each side. Neither affect play.  No scratches.  Grooves do not show any wear or damage.

 The cover is VG+.

The front cover is shiny and bright with light wear, very small piece of laminate bubbling and thumbprint size piece of slick missing at the pocket. The back cover has moderate wear.. No split seams. Seams are shiny and unworn. Spine is intact and readable. Small spots of denting and wear at the corners.

IN SEPTEMBER, I WILL BACK AND BE RUNNING MONTHLY AUCTIONS OF 50s and 60s JAZZ LPS INC BLUE NOTE, PRESTIGE, NEW JAZZ  RIVERSIDE etc. MANY WEEKS AND MANY NICE ITEMS TO COME.

My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas.  I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied.  No hassles.
