We are pleased to offer the sensational Eastern influenced modal Jazz masterpiece Hum Dono By The Joe Harriott / Amancio D'silva Quartet featuring Norma Winstone And Ian Carr.
A genuinely rare and essential British Jazz masterpiece released in 1969 this Stereo first pressing on the Columbia Black silver label is high on many a jazz fans want list. CONDITION:
A note on grading, we use the Record Collector grading system with the addition of a (+) or a (-) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition. Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Garrard 301 grease bearing turntable paired with a Kondo Silver wired SME 3012 Series 1 tonearm and Koetsu Rosewood Cartridge.

Record:
The Black silver labels display well, some signs of use to the spindle holes, mottling on the side one label only, no stickers, writing, rips tears or other detractors. The playing surface is flat and true. Under direct angled light the surfaces display a nice sheen. Scuffs and hairlines are visible which are audible on quieter passages causing some light to moderate ticks, background noise – This is notable on side one. Please take the time to listen carefully to the excerpts of each track for a clear sense of aural condition. Grading Very Good (VG)
Cover
The front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse cover displays well on the front slick, all colours are clear and true, no stickers, rips, tears, writing or other detractors. All seams are intact and sharp with minimal rub. Top tight has a laminate crease. All spine text is visible with some creasing. The un-laminated back cover also displays well with some discoloration and creasing on the right. All text is fully visible, flip backs are complete and in tact. Grade = Very Good (VG)
Summary
An exceptionally rare record in playable condition. No jumps, loud clicks, warp or other serious aural detractors. With this said please listen carefully to the sound clips for a true representation of aural condition
