Joe Harriott Quintet Abstract Capitol stereo   Joe Harriott Quintet  ' Abstract '  CAPITOL ST 10351 (USA) stereo light brown labels - rec. in London on November 1961 and May 1962 - has the Capitol inner sleeve   Joe Harriott : alto sax - Shake Keane : trumpet - Pat Smythe : piano - Coleridge Goode : bass - Bobby Orr or Phil Seaman : drums - Frank Holder : bongos (on 2 tracks only) Side 1 : Subject - Shadows - Oleo (Rollins) - Modal   Side 2 : Tonal - Pictures - Idioms - Compound All compositions by Joe Harriott except as indicated   Visual grading : record is EX- full lustre has some very light unfeelable surface marks on both sides and a very light unfeelable scuff on side 1. Clean labels with just a trace of spindle wear  Playing grading : record EX plays well with loud and clear sound. Has few light occasional background noise   Cover grading : cover is VG to VG+ has light wear to spine, edges and a bit more evident to corners. Spine has all titles readable. Top and bottom right corners have been repaired for a seam split. Bottom right corner has also traces of tape's removal on front and on back.
