Description
Seldom seen in UK auctions is an early pressing of Joe Henderson - Inner Urge (Blue Note BST 84189). Great combination of one of Blue Note's best and freest saxophonists backed by the engine room of the 60s Coltrane group. The audio from this 1966 vinyl is incredibly powerful and intense - I have fully play-tested the vinyl, so my grading is based on how the record actually sounds, as well as how it looks.
Vinyl is Excellent in audio & visual terms, playing with very limited occasional crackle between tracks. VAN GELDER stamp is present in the deadwax. Labels are NY USA, indicating a pressing right around the time when Blue Note ownership transitioned to Liberty - the 'ear' is not present but it's effectively an original Blue Note in every other way. The labels themselves are in excellent condition.
Original cover is graded Very Good+ overall, due to a number of small imperfections: some mild wear on the back cover, a little fading on the spine and slight corner wear. The cover is structurally sound with no splits, and the front cover picture looks fabulous.

Note that I separate the vinyl from the outer sleeve for postage to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me, and in the way I'd like to receive them.
