Description

This is Blue Note Records BLP 4152, Joe Henderson Our Thing, a blue and white, microgroove, New York USA, deep groove label original mono issue of this classic record with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax as well as the ear (p) mark. The record is in a strong VG+ condition showing light marks on both sides but playing quietly except for a brief time at the beginning of the 2nd track where light background is audible; hence the extra (+).  The cover with the 43 West 61st St. New York 23 address, has marker on the back and light bumps on the bottom edges but is otherwise intact. The labels are excellent with light spindle marks. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is an outstanding collector's grade copy of this beautiful original Blue Note recording with all the proper markings in place.
