Joe Henderson ‎– Our Thing - Orig. U.S Blue Note BLP 4152 (1964) Mono.
Matrix: BNLP - 4152A / BNLP - 4152B. e (inverted P for Plastylite record plant) inscribed in the dead wax both sides VAN GELDER stamped both sides.
Vinyl condition: VG. A-side is very clean with just a light scratch and a couple of superficial hairlines. B-side has a few light scratches, some hairlines/scuff marks and a couple of small scratch marks, one slightly feelable. Labels are very clean both sides with just the slightest faint mark.
The vinyl plays superb overall with clean, crisp sound and no distortion - a truly superb natural recording and pressing. There is just a single light click near the start of side 1, and the feelable scratch results in some light background ticks at the end of B2/start of B3, but these are very minor and are predominately at a loud point in the music, and do not really interfere with the overall music and the fantastic performance. The overall play is superb, and apart from the points mentioned, there is very little if any discernible background noise during play. I would grade it 8.5/10, would be 9.5 without the ticks, a superb and really enjoyable play.
Sleeve condition: VG+. Great looking sleeve for a non-laminated U.S record of this age. Title info is readable to spine. To front, some ring wear (more apparent to bottom)/ light general wear, and edge and corner wear. There is a small 1cm split to the left corner of the top edge.  To rear, very clean looking overall. Original dealer stickers to to and bottom left of sleeve, some small tear marks to top of rear paper cover, some browning/ageing marks to left edge and edge/corner wear. Comes with original Blue Note paper inner sleeve which I will include, but it is in Good-Fair condition, with splits on both edges, a tear to one side, creasing, and has partly come unstuck. As it will not adequately protect the record, I will provide a standard lined inner sleeve, but will ship with the original inner also.
