Joe Hill Louis 180gm LP Memphis Blues & Breakdowns (Advent LP2803 UK 1967) NM/EX
On Advent (Cat: LP2803) UK Heavy-weight (180gram) Vinyl LP released in 1967, from the original recordings 1949-53 in Memphis & New York City. A rare classic, hence my buy-now valuation.
The record was play-graded & plays with very few light crackles on side A, and none on side B. The record plays with no clicks and no jumping or sticking. The record is graded NEAR MINT. The cover has very few issues and is graded EXCELLENT. See my descriptions below.
The record labels are clean with no writing, & visually the record looks in great condition. The record was play-graded & plays with very few light crackles on side A, and none on side B. The record plays with no clicks and no jumping or sticking. The record is graded NEAR MINT.
The flip-back cover has a matt finish both front & rear. There are very few issues with this cover. The front has a slight impression of the record, & some ring-wear near the lower edge, with much less at the upper edge area, and none elsewhere. On the front there is a 2.5-inch crease at the upper spine corner, but no other blemishes. The rear has slight ring-wear near the lower edge, and much less near the upper edge, and none elsewhere. The cover is clean with no writing, stickers or labels or other blemishes. There is very little wear at the spine, upper and lower edges, & none on the open edge. A great cover, easily graded EXCELLENT.

GRADING: Records are graded using the Rare Record Price Guide – please ask if you require further information. I always play grade the records I sell, unless sealed or stated otherwise.
PACKAGING UNSEALED ITEMS: These items will be protected inside a strong thick card pro-mailer with a stiffener – see my feedback. I prepare a record for despatch by re-packaging it in a new polythene-lined inner sleeve, and place it separately from the company cover to avoid splitting the seam. The record could otherwise slip around inside and cut through the edge of the card cover. To add further protection, I place the whole package inside a polythene outer slip case. See below for sealed or bagged items. If you have any alternative request for packaging, please contact me before making payment.
PACKAGING SEALED OR BAGGED ITEMS: I prepare a factory sealed or bagged record for despatch by re-packaging it in a larger polythene sleeve and then tape this outer sleeve, to ensure no movement of the record in transit. The factory seal or bag is not stuck with this tape, but the record cannot slip and cut through the card cover. The item is further protected with extra packaging (stiffener) in a pro-mailer. If you have any alternative request for packaging, please contact me before making payment.

POSTAGE: I always combine postage costs wherever possible. On multi-purchases up to 4 single albums (LPs), postage is the same as for a single item (LP). This includes gatefold covers as well.
