Joe McPhee -- Everything Happens For A Reason; ROARATORIO 09 LP, original US pressing limited edition # 173 out of 482, long out of print, stereo, 2005. Solo on pocket trumpet, soprano sax and alto sax. Recorded November 7, 2003 in Wels, Austria. Cover artwork by Judith Lindbloom.

"In the ever-growing discography of master musician Joe McPhee, his solo albums have stood out as supreme ur-texts of his consummate improvising and compositional skills. Joining the ranks of such landmark records as Tenor, Graphics, and As Serious As Your Life, Everything Happens For A Reason is an unadorned showcase of this influential pioneer in the world of creative improvised music. Recorded live in Austria in November of 2003, Everything Happens For A Reason features McPhee on pocket trumpet, soprano and alto saxophones. A limited edition of 482 copies on 180 gram vinyl, with a Judith Lindbloom silkscreen print on rice paper and liner notes by McPhee."
Vinyl is m-; jacket is m- with one very lightly dented corner. Pretty much as new.

International shipping:
I am not responsible for uninsured parcels. If insurance is desired, package must go Priority Mail since insurance is not available on First Class International Mail. Please contact me for rates.
Multiple LP sets count per the number of LPs in the set. All packages weighing over 4 lbs/pounds – about 5 or 6 LPs – must be sent Priority Mail per USPS regulations.
Canada: $6.50 First Class mail (uninsured) for the 1st LP + $2.00 each additional. Winning totals over $75 MUST be sent Priority Mail @ $21.00 for the first 1 to 2 LPs + $2.00 each additional.
Mexico: $10.00 First Class mail (uninsured) for the 1st and 2nd LPs + $3.00 each additional. Winning totals over $75 MUST be sent Priority Mail @ $25.00 for the first 1 to 2 LPs + $3.00 each additional.
Rest of the world excluding Italy: $15.00 First Class mail (uninsured) for the 1st and 2nd LPs + $3.00 each additional. Winning totals over $75 MUST be sent Priority Mail @ $30.00 for the first 1 to 2 LPs + $3.00 each additional.
Italy: $30.00 Priority Mail for the 1st and 2nd LPs + $3.00 each additional.

Grading: My highest grade is m- as I believe there is no perfect record! From there I approximate the Goldmine rating system always listing flaws to help provide a mental picture. I use vg++ as a grade in between vg+ and m-. My grading is guaranteed.
Packaging: I separate the record from the jacket (except box sets) during transit to alleviate seamsplits. I always use appropriate LP/box set packaging in an effort to ensure that the records arrive in the same condition as they leave my home.
