Joe Monterose

"The Message"

featuring Tommy Flanagan, Jimmy Garrison, & Pete La Roca

An original pressing from 1961, thick vinyl deep groove pressing on Jaro Records, #JAM-5004, mono. Label is deejay version, with the "NSF" and "radio station only" designation crossed out on label.

The vinyl has light background ticking throughout and a few short needle scratches that tick more noticeably when passed over. Side two plays pretty cleanly with only light background noise/ticking and no skips, but twice on side one the short marks cause the needle to hop a groove. The jacket has light ringwear and some minor damage to front near the bottom. There is a tiny split in the top seam. Has the original inner sleeve too. (see the pictures).

I ship records in record mailing boxes with cardboard padding. The record is removed from it's jacket to prevent seam splitting! Winner in th U.S. to choose either Priority for $6.00, or Media Mail for $3.00, international rates will differ. Thanks and good luck!
