Description
I had the extreme good fortune to have served as legendary jazz drummer Joe Morello's assistant and drum technician for many years. I was also the editor of his wonderful book, Master Studies II.
Up for sale is a sealed copy of the Dave Brubeck Quartet's Jazz Goes to College record album. It is 1962 Columbia Stereo CS 8631 and was part of Joe Morello's record collection.
It features Dave Brubeck (piano); Paul Desmond (alto sax); Bob Bates (bass); Joe Dodge (drums).
The shrink wrap has a two tears on both the bottom center of the front cover and the bottom center of the back cover. There is also a one inch or so tear in the shrink wrap where you would remove the album.
It is on the top to the right of the word "Stereo". Also, I can feel the album through the shrink wrap on each corner.
The shrink wrap has some light shelf wear and shallow scratches on both the front and back covers. There may be some discoloration on the album cover itself due to age.
