Joe Patek, Humming Bird #159, Texas Czech Folk music. Condition is Used. Will ship USPS Media Mail.
Record grade is VG. It's been played a few times, like most Humming Bird records. There are several surface scuffs and scratches, but it hasn't been juked too much. I'm almost inclined to keep it for myself because Humming Birds in a playable condition are so hard to find! The record plays through on my equipment. Be sure to examine the record surface in the photos.
Joe Patek is one of the most respected names in Texas Czech dance hall music; his records are still played on local radio stations in communities of predominantly Czech and German heritage. The Patek name is still found in several businesses around his hometown of Shiner, TX.
The record will be shipped sandwiched between two thick pieces of cardboard, and placed inside a larger box with plenty of padding. I've ordered plenty of 78's from eBay that have arrived in the mail safely, so I know how it's supposed to be done.
