Description

Joe Sample - Rainbow Seeker - Mobile Fidelity Original Master EX Vinyl. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
Mobile Fidelity MFSL 1-016
The cover unfortunately shows signs of wear, appears slightly faded.
Immaculate vinyl, i.e. Looks good and I am unaware of any blemishes.
Appears to be the original anti-static inner sleeve. Includes Mobile Fidelity Production Information inside.
I have been an audiophile for over 50 years and all vinyl etc lovingly cared for. An attached post-it note shows it was last played August 1991.
Part of quality collection of Mobile Fidelity releases, Half-Speed Masters, Direct Cut Masters and over 120 Japanese Pressings
For the Audiophiles among you:
I started with the old favourites, Garrard SP25 Mk 2, Wharfedale Speakers & Rotel or Marantz Amp. Subsequent gear included Systemdeck, Linn Sondek LP12, Yamaha NS 1000, Cube Power Amp, Beard Valve Amp, Meridian Pre-Amp, list not complete.
The favourite system early 1990’s, Oracle turntable, Fidelity Research Arm, Koetsu Black K cartridge, Mark Levinson Pre (£13K), Mark Levinson Power (£3K), ProAc Studio 3 EBS speakers.
A guy from Meridian came to listen because they were seeking a mid-range unit for a new speaker and he wanted to hear the ProAc. After a couple of hour’s he said that it was one of the best systems he had ever heard, “came to listen to the driver and ended just listening to the music”
In 1987 I started on a wonderful journey, and still going on, collecting Grateful Dead music. Involving thousands of cassettes (over 3000), 150 PCM tapes, 300 DAT Tapes and currently 4700 Cd’s, and over 800 duplicates etc. discarded. This involved 7 Nakamichi Decks and 2 Professional DAT machines. I still have them and the tape decks are worth a small fortune.
With this commitment I hardly played any vinyl.
