This is a great album from the creative engine behind Weather Report & Miles Davis electric years guest starring everyone from Wayne Shorter & Herbie Hancock to Miroslav Vitous pasted picture sleeve with Miles quote on the back. The sleeve is still in its open shrink with no deletion cuts or markings. Complete with the catalogue inner the vinyl looks barely played SD1579)

TRACKLISTING: Opening with Doctor Honoris Causa dedicated to Herbie Hancock for his Honorary Doctorate at Grinnell University Zawinul doubles up with Herbie on the keys [with Woody Shaw on trumpet] to create an impressionistic sound painting a work that in its way compliments Miles In A Silent Way recorded a year before - Zawinul expands on that very number on side 1 and with tape-speed manipulation and Echoplex devices deployed to vast effect across the whole of the LP he produces a rich and adventurous affair worthy of the attention of any serious jazz-rock fan.
