Description

Joel Shaw and his Orchestra play two hot songs, "Sing! (It's Good for Ya!)" and "This is the Chorus of A Song" on Crown 3381.  There are good solos on both sides.
Possible personnel:  2tp; tb; Mike Doty (cl, as); Gene Kardos (as); unknown (ts); Joel Shaw (p, vcl, dir); g; tu; d; Dick Robertson (as "Bob Dixon") (vcl).  Recorded in New York in August 1932.
This record is in E- condition on "Sing" and VV+ on the flip side.  The "Chorus" side has a few blasty grooves where the orchestra gets raucous.  
I'm a longtime collector who is downsizing.  I know how to pack records.
