Angel 35282, Johanna Martzy, violin. Bach, Sonatas and Partitas for Violin Solo, Album 3: Sonata #3, BWV 1005 / Partita #3, BWV 1006. Mono, 1950s. British pressing, red label, dowel spine, ER1. A very rare, very sought-after LP. Vinyl strong VG+, with a few fingerprints and some very light paper scuffs. Plays with minor surface noise, occasional pops and thumps, no repeated ticking. On my turntable, increasing the tracking improves the sound toward the record’s inner grooves. Cover strong VG+, with three small patches of seam wear and a 1" piece of clear tape at the top of the back cover.

Records are generally graded on visual inspection. M: Mint. I only use this grade when a record is sealed. NM: Near Mint. I won't grade any unsealed vinyl higher than this. VG++: Excellent. Looks unflawed but not new; sound should be fine. VG+: May have cosmetic flaws, mild surface noise or short patches of ticking, but should sound fine overall. VG: May have moderate noise throughout or one or two bad patches from scratches.
