Description

Franz Schubert: Works for Violin & Piano op.137, 1-3, op.70, op.162

Performed by Johanna Martzy and Jean Antonietti.

German Columbia mono-pressings with blue labels.

Article-Nos. 80756 (op.137) and 80757 (op.60 & 162)

  • Condition Cover: EX. Front laminated sleeves with light general and wear.

  • Condition Vinyl: VG to VG+. Both LPs seldomly played, but both have faint traces of paperscuffs from removal and "bubble"-defects.

If you're no familiar with this: many German Electrolas and Columbias show tiny bubbles on the surfaces of the vinyl after decades of storage.

These bubbles produce low-pitchd noises during playing. The level of this effect hugely varies.

80756 has a bit more of this: although the music comes across clearly, there are subdued, low-pitched noises audible throughout. It is possible not
to bother about this too much and enjoy the music, but it's not a perfect playback. 80757 has by far less of this, playback is much better, often close to NM, but there are similar noises
audible here and there as well.

General Information:

- Shipping-rates may differ for different destinations, please check details below for more information or shortly adress me.

- I offer combined shipping for multiple purchases and I'll always send an invoice with correct rates shortly after auction-end.

- Unless you notify me in time, payment is expected within 5 days after receiving of invoice. If I don't at least hear from you in between, I'll send a non-payment notification through Ebay
   afterwards.

- I use sturdy cardboard-boxes and cardboard-dividers, both specifically designed for the safe shipping of vinyl records.

- Most LPs receive new antistatic innersleeves (in addition to the original ones, which of course are also provided). I, however, don't add new sleeves, if the original ones seem fitting.

- If in doubt about anything, please contact me, I'm glad to assist you with any possible queries!

A note about my record-grading:

I usually only visually grade the LPs under strong light and I only playgrade them ( i.e. the portions that seem to have signs of usage), if I can't be sure of their actual condition.
If records show stronger signs of soiling I'll professionally clean them (Okki Nokki RCM), but I'm not doing this if it's obviously only dust, as I know that collectors usually prefer their
very own way of record-cleaning.

My goal is to always decribe the records appropriately and I will name every visible and/or audible defect in my detailed description. If regardless of my precautions
you should ever be dissatisfied with the condition of a record, please contact me before leaving negative or neutral feedback to give me the chance to resolve your query.
I'm confident, however, that this will hardly ever be the case. I've been selling records for many years now and so far complaints fortunately have been the utter exception!
