Media would have been NM, but for a long Side 2 mostly surface scratch across T2-T5. Only audible as light popping during last minute of T2 & first minute of T3, so you decide grade. Remember, it's returnable!  I bought this LP new in 1970, so guess I did it!  :(   Also, a bit of spindle marking on Side 2.

Cover is VG+ Typed song listing taped on back & title taped on spine.  Vacuum cleaned with Music Hall_MCS-2.  If interested, please study photos and send me any questions.   Photos include Matrix #s.

Barcode and Other Identifiers: Matrix / Runout (Side A): 417-A & Matrix / Runout (Side B): I was young when I left home 417-B, plus 111 with both an 'A' & a 'B'  superimposed on each other. This identifies in as 1st pressing, as well as the blue/green printed label.

Notes:
Has full printed blue and silver label identifying it as the 1st printing (G.W.W.) after very limited printing on an anonymous label. This is an original pressing from master plates with great audio. This cover is simply stamped "Dylan  JBS  $3.90" in black ink. Bobsboots.com rates this one a high 7-9  stars. Album is thick black vinyl. The first John Birch Society was released in 1970 by an unknown Label; matrix was 417 A/B. On the G.W.W. issue, oddly enough, on the B side of the album is another matrix 111 with an 'A & B" superimposed on each other.  This is a well known album that went by many titles, but this original 1970 version is one of the most rare.  It had a plain white cover with no stamp, and a full printed blue and silver label.  The John Birch Society title was used for many different albums.  TMOQ and Berkeley, among others, have released a wide variety of forms of this  LP, all based on this original  album. After this version, the first John Birch Society was released in 1970 by an unknown Label.  As with this first LP, the matrix was  417 A/B. Other covers were white (or, rarely, a light pastel) with various forms of rubber-stamp names on the front.

We use a Music Hall MCS-2 vacuum machine and thoroughly clean all records. Media comes in a new Spin Care premium inner sleeve providing Anti Static, Anti Dust, & Anti Scratch features. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from jacket avoiding seam splits & a new poly sleeve over outer jacket.
