Description
On offer is a UK LP titled: INFORMAL JAZZ by the artists Hank MOBLEY & John COLTRANE (tenor saxophones), Donald BYRD (Trumpet), Elmo HOPE (Piano), Paul CHAMBERS (bass) and Philly Joe JONES (drums).
Side 1: Weejah - Polka Dots and Moonbeams.
Side 2: On it - Avalon.
Recorded 7th May 1956.
Label: UK ESQUIRE.
Cat no: 32-039.
The record is in Near MINT condition.
The laminated single sleeve has been ripped at some point across the front and stuck back together. This does not greatly spoil the sleeve effect but can be seen. There is a small sticker remnant in the top right corner and the lamination appears removed from the front. The rear of the sleeve remains in near EXCELLENT condition. (Please check photos) The sleeve would grade around POOR condition but looks much better.
Please note I do not use the term MINT unless a record is brand new or I know it has never been played.
