Description

Fear...is a man's best friend, according to this very smart, very Welsh, very unpredictable escapee from the Velvet Underground.


The band includes Eno and Phil Manzanera, both of Roxy Music which were at their peak right then. A set of even more than usually varied styles, because Cale needs to experiment and be funny, beautiful, and raucous.


Gorgeous NM vinyl, and the sleeve's almost as good but for a bit of ringwear.


For those who know things, here's the mateix numbers from Side 1: ILPS 9301-A 1A (followed by the symbol for the Artisan Sound Studios, where this terrific mastering was created.
