Description

This listing is for a rare original first pressing vinyl LP of John Carpenter's Prince Of Darkness horror film soundtrack album.
This US pressing was released in 1987 by the label Varèse Sarabande with catalog # STV 81340.

Record Condition:


Some moderate visible surface wear is present in the way of just a few very light hairline, non-feelable scratches and faint scuffs.


Clean center labels.


Very nice gloss on the vinyl.


Surface noise is pretty minimal.


There's also some light dust/dirt, so a thorough cleaning would remove that and probably brighten the sound and appearance even more.


Industry Grade: Solid VG+.


Jacket Condition:


Signs of shelf wear present on edges, spine, and corners.


Minor ring wear is present.


Some spots of cardboard creasing are visible.


Front cover is overall still pretty clean with no writing or stickers, so I'd say that it still displays pretty well.


No seam splits as the jacket is structurally sound.


Inner Sleeve: Original generic poly inner sleeve.


Industry Grade: Middle of the road VG.
