This auction is for the rare, now long out of print Speakers Corner John Coltrane A Love Supreme 33rpm audiophile vinyl record. It was mastered by Kevin Gray from the original analogue tapes and is widely regarded as the best sounding 33rpm A Love Supreme ever pressed. It's far superior to the original due to the fact that the original had a 60 cycle hum noise throughout as a result of an error by the original mastering engineer. Kevin Gray not only resolved this issue, he created an amazingly superior all analogue mastering as he always does. The sound will absolutely blow you away, it's like Coltrane is in your living room. If you really love this album, do yourself a favor and buy this audiophile pressing instead of one of the terrible digitally mastered $20.00 vinyl versions that Impulse currently produces. This record is unplayed. It was opened, inspected, and given a Mobile Fidelity anti-static archival inner sleeve. I bought two copies of this pressing when it was released, one to play and one as an archive copy (this copy). I can tell you from listening to my play copy countless times, this pressing is absolutely stunning. The drums sound like they're going to pop out of the speakers!
