Description

This is Impulse Records A-6, John Coltrane Africa Brass, a bright orange and black, ABC Paramount label original mono issue of this iconic record with RVG stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG-  condition showing three feelable scratches that cause clicks below the music. However, the record plays with no skips or distortion and is otherwise quiet. The glossy gate-fold cover has a little corner loss and is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode. This is an excellent initial "play" grade copy of this classic original mono issue.
