Description
This is Impulse Records A-95, John Coltrane Ascension, a orange and black label original mono issue with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. This is the rarer, mono, 1st released version. The record is in Near Mint condition, showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The original glossy gatefold cover is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. An original inner sleeve is included. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
