John Coltrane Ascension Shepp-Hubbard Impulse (Edition II) orange st Van GelderJohn Coltrane ' Ascension ' IMPULSE AS 95 (USA) stereo orange label - folder laminated cover - rec. June 28, 1965 - has the Impulse inner sleeve - on dead wax has printed 'Van Gelder' on both sides and ' Edition II ' Please note this is the first take of this piece because Coltrane immediately after the first print, for which he used the second take, decided to use the first take. The difference between the two takes is the order of the solos and in Edition II (this one) there is not the solo drums by Elvin Jones
