Description

John Coltrane

"Blue Train"

Thick vinyl, deep groove on one side only, Lp on Blue Note Records, #1577, mono. Has the New York USA address, the "ear" symbol and "RVG" stamped on both sides of the dead wax. Made in USA. Has "BIEM" stamps on each side of the label.

The vinyl has light surface marks, light scuffing, and there's some light ticking noticed as the music begins, but it drops almost completely after the music starts, thereafter there are only occasional areas of very light background static. A gorgeous sounding LP! The jacket has very light ringwear into the laminated front, and only a hint on the back, the spine and corner show some nicking with 3 small splits in the spine.
