Description
John Coltrane Blue Train Blue Note 1577 mono deep groove original pressing 47 West 63 rd Street address on label.Has deep groove on both sides, RVG stamped in the trail off wax and the classic "ear" also stamped in the dead wax. 43 West 61st Street address on the rear label. Lee Morgan, Curtis Fuller, Paul Chambers, Kenny Drew and Philly Joe Jones the band. Now for the important part: I will rate this LP as a strong VG as I personally played it through and while they are some light surface marks on the record, I heard just a tiny amount of surface noise in a few spots, which is allowable in a VG rating, the new owner will be pleasantly surprised withthe conservative grading for it may be a bit better than VG, the cover is also VG with slight corner rounding on the top right. One small quirk: Side 2 apparently has two labels one on top of the other. You can see the second label under the first one on Side 2. Other than that a nice find in a recently bought collection. This is an original mono pressing with deep groove on both sides, RVG and the "ear" in the dead wax. VG LP, VG cover, light age coloration on the label and also on rear cover. Great addition to your Blue Note collection. Please bid a lot on this as this is the real deal. PayPal preferred and international shipping OK, except Singapore and Serbia.
