Description

John Coltrane Blue Train LP VG Mono 1957 RVG EAR 47 WEST 63rd DG BLP 1577 USA. We were very young when we purchased this and did not understand that when we downsized our large personal collection 55 years later it would be adversely affected by tape and writing. The photos you see are the record you will receive. The outer jacket is original,taped in areas of seam splits and has two names written on back cover. The inner liner had been replaced by a generic and the record has one name in the label on one side. Having said that, I just played it and despite some static, it was a pleasure. John Coltrane and Lee Morgan, Curtis Fuller, Kenny Drew ... it is still a wow! I have priced to sell so someone else can enjoy a fantastic piece of history. All the “greats” sound great! Shipped with USPS Media Mail carefully in custom cardboard mailer.
