John Coltrane Crescent LP MONO Impulse A-66 Van Gelder OG Press VG+ - NM
Recorded at Rudy Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, NJ, 27 April (A2, B1, B2) and 1 June (A1, A3) 1964. Lacquer Cut At – Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. Plated At – Longwear Plating. (Discogs)
Original mono pressing — NOT a reissue. Record Condition: VG+ - NM condition. This John Coltrane record has been play tested (Technics 1200G), and the record is perfectly flat with no warps (please see pictures). The center hole is intact.
“VAN GELDER” is stamped in the runout/dead wax as are Matrix: “A-66 A” and “A-66 B” (please see pictures). The sleeve is of heavy cardboard with “Impulse!” spine branding.
Front Cover Condition - VG+ with a small 1/4" wear spot on the bottom right hand corner.
Gatefold - clean with no ring wear or writing.
Back cover - the clear plastic finish is separating along the left back side edge with a small (about ½ “) nick. The top back left side has a split of about 1 1/4"
Spine - has “Impulse!” branding (see pictures)
Label - orange/black - “Impulse! Records”
Shipping: ships in proper LP mailer with record removed from sleeve.
