Up for Auction: John Coltrane "LIVE AT THE VILLAGE VANGUARD" Original Impulse LP with the scarce white label and "RVG" in the dead wax on both sides. A truly historic and seminal free jazz recording.
Players: John Coltrane (Tenor sax), Eric Dolphy (bass clarinet), McCoy Tyner (piano), Reggie Workman (bass) and Elvin Jones (drums).
LP Cover: VG++. Super thick gatefold cover is in fantastic condition. Minor shelf wear and some spotting on interior of the cover.
Record: VG+ Record has some marks but no feelable scratches. record has been playgraded and plays beautifully with fantastic sound without extraneous background noise, pops or clicks. A very nice copy.
