Item:

This is an original mono copy of John Coltrane's Giant Steps on Atlantic Records (1311) featuring the black label with silver print. Please check out my other items for more great jazz LPs!

Cover: 7.9/10 (VG)

There is some dirt on the back of the cover. The photograph emphasizes this, but in natural light, it is not nearly as evident. There is a small beginning seam split measuring about one inch in the middle of the spine. The corners show minimal rounding and fraying. This is still a very strong cover.

Vinyl: 7.7/10 (VG)

The vinyl sounds great. I have listened to this record the whole way through on my audiophile equipment and it plays with occaisional noise, with a few pops here and there. It is not a mint sounding record, but it is an exceptional VG. Very much listenable, even to me. This is an opportunity to get a completely acceptable original copy of this LP under the price of the mint copies that are seldomly available.

There is some minimal damage on both label sides. The scan is of the worse side. The wear is not bad.
