Description
One of the three greatest jazz albums of all time here is an original stereo pressing of Giant Steps with John Coltrane on Atlantic (SD 1311). The record has a deep groove around the label on both sides, Record is graded as VG+, would be NM save for one light surface marks across track 3 on Side 1, but that mark cannot be felt to the finger and absolutely do not affect play on this national treasure in any way. This is the record that made Coltrane an icon after he left Miles Davis. He plays with Tommy Flanagan, Paul Chambers (simply the finest bass player, ever) and Art Taylor. Jimmy Cobb and Wynton Kelly sit in on Naima. Cover has no seam splits, no age wear, so edgewear and as mentioned before this is a VG+ condition record, would be NM save for one very light surface mark on Side 1 track 3. Record played through on both side, play graded and has no skips, pops or any other defect, just great music. If any questions prior to close of bidding please ask.
