Original pressing with DG labels
G+ vinyl: this is a really scratched up copy. It does have some feelable marks, however I play tested the entire thing and there are no skips. For reference, I played it on my turntable (a vintage Marantz with Nagaoka MP-110 stylus tracking at 1.75 grams) and it sounds surprisingly good. There is some pretty consistent low crackle but the audio dominates especially when Coltrane is playing making this still an enjoyable listen. I’d call the majority of this record a VG- playgrade with some tracks better and some worse. Naima is a quiet track and the disruption is more noticeable there, than say on Giant Steps or Mr. PC. Leaving the grade at G+ because visually it looks in really really rough shape but it miraculously serves as an acceptable playing copy in my opinion.
VG cover: front presents quite well with lots of gloss, some dirt and wear to the reverse, a 2” split to the bottom and mild chipping at the opening.
