Description
Listed is John Coltrane's LP " Giant Steps." Visually, the vinyl looks NM- with a couple of very light scuff marks (perhaps from being removed from the sleeve) but otherwise quite clean with a nice shine. The vinyl plays VG with no pops or skips but does have a bit of light surface noise at the start of the first track but the rest of side 1 plays quite cleanly. Side 2 has surface noise on the first 2 tracks (a little more consistent on the first track as it seems to dissipate in the second) but the music can be heard well over the surface noise. Overall, it is certainly not a NM copy but a nice listen and perhaps side 2 could be improved with a good ultrasonic cleaning as it does look nice visually. The cover is G+ to VG- with signs of water damage on the bottom front with a middle seam split. The back shows signs of discoloration and water damage with a tear at the bottom left. There is a sticker in the upper right corner on the front indicating this was a promo copy. I play grade everything I list before it goes up for auction (unless it is SEALED or marked "unplayed"). I am a collector, not a store and do my best to grade accurately and take great care of my LPs. If you are purchasing internationally, please do not ask me to place any value on the customs for other than the value the LP sells for. I will not ship to Brazil or Italy; sorry.
