John Coltrane - Hank Mobley ' Two tenors ' PRESTIGE PR 7043 (USA) mono blue label - originally issued in 1956 as Elmo Hope 'Informal jazz' - this is the 1964 issue - on trail off (dead wax) has the 'RVG' (Rudy Van Gelder) Hank Mobley, John Coltrane : tenor sax - Donald Byrd : trumpet - Elmo Hope : piano - Paul Chambers : bass - Philly Jo Jones : drums Side 1 : Weeja (Hope) - Polka dots and moonbeams (Burke-Van Heusen) Side 2 : On it (Hope) - Avalon (Jolson-DeSylva) Visual grading : record is EX full lustre has very light wear. Clean labels with minimal spindle wearPlaying grading : record is EX plays very well with loud and clear sound. Very few light occasional ticks Cover grading : cover is Good+ to VG- has wear to corners, edges and to spine which is almost totally taped with transparent tape. Also top left corner is taped with transparent tape (cm.8 or 3"). Front cover has ringwear. On back cover a couple of writings have been whitened and has also age yellowing
