Vinyl: Near Mint condition (it's perfect! incredibly well kept).
Cover: VG++ (small and minor shelfwear, small signature with initials on inner cover).

Overall this is a fantastic record. I've owned for nearly fifty years and have always treasured it. It is one of Coltrane's best - especially the recordings from his Village Vanguard performances, which are completely astonishing. The title-track is one of the best sax-solos in the history of jazz, in my honest opinion. I count this record as one of Coltranes best albums of all time. This record is superior in both rarity and musical quality, there's no denying that!

We listen through all our records, and inspect the vinyls and covers for wear and tear. We grade our records conservatively:

VINYL:
NM(Near Mint): Record looks and sounds perfect or close. No surface sound, no wear and tear.

EX (Excellent): Record looks and sounds close to perfect, with very little surface sound and/or wear and tear that doesn't affect play.

VG, VG+, VG++ (Very Good in three variations): Record has some surface sound, some marks or other damage that may slightly affect play.

Cover:
Please note that most of our covers has the signature of the current owner and that most of our records does not have the original innersleeves!

NM Near Mint: Close to perfect cover, absolute minimum signs of use.
EX Excellent: Excellent cover, very minor signs of use f.x slight wear on spine.
VG++, VG+, VG Very Good(++): Decent and acceptable cover, slight damage either to spine or in terms of a bent corner. The combination and sum of errors define whether it's VG++, VG+ or VG.
G Good: Acceptable cover with few significant flaws.
P Poor: Less than good cover with several significant flaws.

Please note, that we can ONLY ship up to three records in one mailer if one or more of them are gatefolders or 2LP-sets - this is because of the increased weight as well as the fact, that such items take up more space inside the mailer.
