John Coltrane - Impressions LP Vinyl IMPULSE! Stereo


I believe this to be a repress of the original 1963 LP released around 1965 based on some releases depicted on the original company inner sleeve.

Vinyl Grade: VG/VG+

Pretty nice vinyl, plays with some light crackle here and there. Some light paper scuffs, side two has a visible haze over it but play is not hindered. Side one label has a spot around the top edge that has sticker residue. Not very sticky but it’s there. Side two label has a couple dark spots.

Cover Grade: VG

Pretty nice overall, would be VG+ without the few small tears on the inner gatefold from a library card holder being removed. Very slight ringwear, only one tiny spot of noticeable seam wear. On the rear white stripe there’s a faint library stamp, shown in last picture. Nice solid spine. OG inner sleeve included with a small split on the bottom seam.

Overall a nice copy of a crucial release of Coltrane’s discography.
