Description
John Coltrane Impressions. U.K. HMV CLP1965 Mono album in flipback laminated jacket. A mixture of live and studio recordings, this album influenced The Byrds in their lifting of the melody from “India” for “Eight Miles High”. The record is bright and clean with no scratches or lines visible. Plays wonderfully. Labels equally bright and clean. Laminated sleeve is excellent with a small crease on the laminate surface. The spine is legible and intact. Rear panel is bright with no major staining or writing. The sleeve has two small spots of colour bleed(?). One to the top front right, and rear bottom left. These are shown in the pictures. Original inner sleeve. July 1963 EMI/HMV PAPER lined sleeve, not poly lined. The album has been in an acid free archive inner to avoid scratches from the original inner. A very good, difficult to find heavyweight original copy of an influential album by an influential artist.
