Description

This is Impulse A-50, (SMAS-90232) Club Edition, Stereo, and Gatefold cover.  Album released in 1964.  Album manufactured by Capitol Records -Recorded at Birdland.  Engineer is Rudy Van Gelder.  Orange and Black Impulse label Capitol Record Club Edition.  The Cat # on the sleeve reads "Stereo A-50", while the vinyl reads "SMAS-90232" .  Matrix/runout side A:  SMAS-1-90232-B2 and side B reads: SMAS-2-90232-A3.  Vinyl is rated Excellent minus because it does have a few ticks most notably on the B side in the first minute.  It plays near mint most of the time and therefore in my opinion, it deserves an excellent minus in lieu of a VG + especially vinyl of this vintage.  It lays nice and flat with no spindle wear.  Cover is in excellent condition-has a factory reinforced spine.  The only flaws are very slight ring wear and a slight discoloration on upper left on inside gatefold.  There are no tears or corner bumps-very clean.
