Description
Both labels have 203 South Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J. address; the same address appears at the bottom of the back cover. The record has "RVG" inscribed in the dead wax. John Coltrane, tenor sax on all 5 tracks. Side A also includes Earl May, bass; Art Taylor, drums. Side B includes a Quartet that also includes Red Garland, piano; Paul Chamber, bass; Albert "Tootie" Heath, drums on 1 track. Donald Byrd is added on trumpet with Louis Hayes, drums in place of Heath to form the Quintet track.
Cover: VG+ or Better Intact and clean. Light aging on the back cover with a very small tear near the bottom spine corner. Some uneven, light aging on the back cover. Gloss finished front cover.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface. Possibly never played. No surface noise. I have included the (-) as a possibility that it may have been played 1 or 2 times. The record plays like new with no surface noise. Fine, collectable condition. Audibly checked.
